Outlook Enterprises Plans Expansion in Baltimore City

Media production company aims to add 150 new jobs by 2024

BALTIMORE, MD (May 18, 2022) – Outlook Enterprises LLC, a full-service media production and animation studio, is planning to expand its Baltimore City headquarters. The company has leased an additional 27,000 square-feet of space located on East Biddle Street, which will allow for increased production and operations management. Outlook Enterprises expects to add 150 new full-time jobs in the city over the next two years.

“Outlook Enterprises’ expansion will not only help the company reach its full potential, but it will also help enhance the Baltimore City business community,” said Governor Larry Hogan. “We are looking forward to the outcomes of this project and the benefits it holds for Baltimore’s job market.”

Outlook Enterprises is a growing visual production company that specializes in youth and pop culture media content catered toward children. The company – founded by former Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman Trevor Pryce – uses a variety of animation, production, sound mixing tools, and equipment to create unique content for its customers. The company currently has ongoing partnerships with networks and streaming services such as Netflix and Nickelodeon.

“We chose Baltimore for its perfect blend of technology, art, and know-how. As a computer-based animation studio, we could have set up operations pretty much anywhere. It all came down to will and support,” said Trevor Pryce, founder and CEO of Outlook Enterprises. “As one of the first animation/VFX studios in the region, we couldn’t be happier with the decision to park Outlook in Charm City.”

To assist with project costs, the Maryland Department of Commerce has approved a $450,000 conditional loan through Advantage Maryland, formerly the Maryland Economic Development Assistance Authority and Fund (MEDAAF). Additionally, Baltimore Development Corporation is providing a $200,000 conditional loan, which was approved by the Board of Estimates today. The company is also eligible for various state and local tax credits.

“Outlook Enterprises brings a unique and artistic flair to the Baltimore City business community,” said Maryland Commerce Secretary Mike Gill. “We are excited to see how the company’s creativity blossoms through this expansion.”

“Founded and led by former NFL Ravens player turned animator, Trevor Pryce, Outlook Enterprises represents the unique creative talent that abounds in Baltimore. BDC is thrilled that Outlook chose to locate its headquarters in the recently restored Hoen Lithograph building to be part of East Baltimore's revitalization by supporting community investment and creating jobs for residents,” said Colin Tarbert, president and CEO of Baltimore Development Corporation.
