The Maryland Public Art Commission implements Maryland's formal public art program through sculptures, murals and other works in an effort to enhance the cultural landscape of Maryland communities. Created in 2005 and comprised of 12 members.
Chair
Randall M. Griffin is the Chair of the Maryland Public Art Commission and chaired the Maryland 9/11 Memorial project. He is retired and was the CEO of Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT). Griffin worked 39 years in real estate management, development, acquisitions, marketing and finance including Vice President of Development for EuroDisney Development in Paris, France. He also serves on a number of non-profit Boards and has served on the National Aquarium Board, the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education, the BWI Partnership and the Greater Washington Initiative.
