Request a Commerce Speaker
As part of our mission to promote Maryland and grow the state’s economic base, the Maryland Department of Commerce’s team members regularly participate as speakers at a variety of events, including keynote presentations at business conferences, informational updates to community and civic groups, or as panelists on a number of topics. Commerce offers the community its Speakers Bureau, which consists of subject matter experts in the areas of economic development, customer service, international trade, business resources, travel and tourism, and more.
If you would like to request a Commerce speaker for your next meeting or event, please first fill out the Speaker Request Form below. Requests should be submitted as early in advance as possible, and no later than 30 days prior to the event date. While we strive to accommodate each request, due to schedules, we may not be able to support every event.
